on the 10 July 1914.

………..Confirmed in ……….
from the ecclesiastical
district of the Abbey of Orosh in Mirdita (Abbey Nullius).
He was ordained a priest in

theology in Genova, in the Brignole College.

secretary of Mons. Frano Gjinit.
He was imprisoned in Shën Pal
(Mirditë) in 1947.
Other information: He was
clever and very zealous, he was very meek and very good hearted with all
the people. When they tortured him and forced him to curse Jesus Christ,
he answered, with a loud cry: “Glory be to Jesus Christ”.
This continued for many days
until he died from those inhuman tortures. The words of Father Mark
Gjani were recounted with many tears by Nikoll Perndoj from Kthella of
Oroshit, who stayed in the same cell with him.
The cell was divided in two
parts with partition of wood in such a way that every thing could be
seen and heard.
His body was tied up and
dragged out of prison and thrown into a big pit close by where they
think it was devoured by the dogs.
