Accomplished
duties: he was a merchant and had a shop in Gjuhadol-Shkoder.
He was arrested
and imprison in Shkodra on the 03 December 1945.
He was shot and
killed in Shkodra on Monday at 5am on the 04 March 1946.
Other
information: From the beginning he was against communism he fought with
others and interceded together with Gjelosh Lulashi and his friends to
create a co-operation between those that lived in the mountains and in
Shkodra. He was a member of the illegal political association the
“Albanian union” founded by the seminarian Mark Çuni. Together with
others he had taken on oath to fight against communism until death. He
was courageously active for deep catholic convictions. He was arrested
because all those that were in the association, 39 of them, did not go
to the elections, but he had been spreading anti-communist leaflets.
His last words
were: “ I forgive those who have wronged me, those who have condemned me
to death, and those who will kill me. Glory be o Christ the King! Long
Live Albania!”
He was shot and
killed outside the Remaj cemetery in Shkodra and there they abandoned
him together with F. Giovanni Fausti, Fr. Danjel Dajani, Fr. Gjon
Shllaku and others.
