He studied in Trenning
[?](Austria). He was Parish priest of the Cathedral of that time St.
Lucy in Durrës. He was arrested in the Parish house. He was imprisoned
in Durrës at the back of the present museum of the fallen for the
fatherland. (According to the verbal statement on the 18 May 1947).
He was shot and killed in the
Roman port in Durrës, at a place called Spitalla.
(According the verbal statement on the 09 March
1948), while some of the faithful say that it was the night of 31
December 1946 until 01 January 1947.
Other information: He was
asked to reveal the seal of confession, but even though he was tortured
inhumanely, he did not reveal it. When he was going to be shot he did
not want to bind his eyes and did not agree to turn his back on them.
He was shot on the beach by the sea and they covered him with a bit of
sand.
Some dogs discovered his body
while they were scratching on the sand.
It was said that the
inhabitants of that area buried his body on a hill but in has not been
found.

made up of three communities of believers, while commemorating his
martyrdom, have remembered him, giving him the title: “Torch of
democracy”).
