Born in Vrnakolo – Kosovo on
the 12 May 1921
Baptised on the 15 May 1921
in Letnicë Kosovo.
Confirmed …………… Kosovo (now Apostolic Administration
of Prizren)
Later he transferred to the diocese of Shkodra.
Priestly Ordination in Rome
at Propaganda Fide from the prefect, Cardinal Pietro Fumasoni Biondi on
the 19 March 1945.
Specialization: Licence in
theology in 1944.
When he comes back to Albania
in 1945, he was appointed chancellor of the Archdiocese.
He was arrested and
imprisoned in Shkodra in June (September) 1947.
He was sentenced for life in
prison.
Other information:
He was continuously tortured,
one of these tortures was: from 01 October 1947 he was left day and
night for 15 days standing in front of the wall while they continuously
wet him. After this they would leave him to sleep on the floor, because
of this he got tuberculosis, and 5 months after he was freed from prison
he died in the residence of the Archbishop in Shkodra, in the spring of
1948. |
